COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Technical Level 3 Certificate in Health and Social Care has been designed and written by a team of subject matter experts, along with employers and higher education institutions.
This is a nested qualification which means that it allows learners to be topped up to a qualification that is the same level and subject within the Award, Certificate and Extended Diploma structure.
Together they have created a course that provides learners with an in-depth knowledge of core subject areas in health and social care, in order to support progression into Higher Education, the workplace, or further learning in related subject areas at Level 4 and above.

In order to be accepted onto this course you must:

Qualification Delivery
This qualification is delivered online, through a combination of live classes and interactive webinars, which are supported with expert learning resources and an e-portfolio. Each student is assigned a personal assessor from our highly experienced faculty - along with dedicated tutors, assessors and IQAs. Online classes also give students the opportunity to discuss their studies with other learners whilst receiving advice, guidance, and support from an experienced healthcare professional.

Please note that learners will also be required to choose a number of additional optional units.
Level 3 Assessments
The NCFE CACHE Technical Level 3 Certificate in Health and Social Care is assessed through a range of assessments, with the results equivalent to the following UCAS points:
• A*: 84• A: 72
• B: 60
• C: 48
• D: 36
Please note that all externally set and marked assessments for the certificate are limited to one attempt and one further reattempt opportunity (undertaking an alternative assessment).
Progression Opportunities
Upon achievement of this qualification, learners will be able to progress to the Technical Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care. The Certificate also supports learners’ access to Higher Education and progression to further learning at Level 4 and above.
Furthermore, students will have the opportunity to apply for a wide range of job roles within the health and social care sector, including but not limited to:
• Care Support Worker (in adult residential settings).
• Healthcare Assistant (in community, primary care, and acute health environments).
